If you own a hot tub, the Dazzle one-inch bromine tablets can be an excellent way to maintain clean water. These tablets come in a compressed puck form, and they're designed to kill harmful microorganisms. Unlike chlorine, they're effective in a wider pH range. These slow-dissolving tablets can be used in auto brominators or floating dispensers to ensure optimal results. Details: Dazzle P/N: DAZ08502 Container size: 2kg Tablets are one (1) inch diameter and weigh aprox 20 grams each Available bromine present as 1-Bromo-3-chloro-5, 5-dimethylhydantoin and related hydantoins 64% Available chlorine present as 1-Bromo-3-chloro-5, 5-dimethylhydantoin and related hydantoins 28% Typical use: In general – a hot tub will use approximately 5 – 10 grams per 1,000 litres per day. Each tablet weighs approx. 20 grams. Typical usage is 2 – 4 tablets per week per 1,000 L. Usage is dependent on bather loads, temperature, overall care and maintenance, use of other products, etc. Use a test kit or test strips to check. Bromine Tablets should be placed in floating dispenser or controlled feeder. Best approach is to fill the dispenser or feeder with the number of tablets required to treat for a week or pre-determined period.
